The New Song: Faith, deliverance and healing from the New Sound…

Oh…sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord, bless His Name; tell of his salvation from day to day.” Ps. 96. 1-2.

Sherry’s three weeks at Bethel’s School of Supernatural Worship (Redding, CA) gave us absolute confirmation of the Lord’s call to Children of Glory – to release worship through the creative arts, and to release the SOUND of praise from the children, in song, dance, drama…the creative arts, harmonize with The Word, in the moment, to create faith, deliverance and healing. Ray Hughes (http://selahministries.com ) taught for several days at Bethel’s School of Supernatural Worship and, most recently at “The Call” in Nashville. Nothing happens in the creation until there is a “sound”. Ray focuses our attention on the nature of sound, on the sound of our worship, its’ union with God’s ‘voice’, and the subsequent immediate impact in the Natural. And at The Call (07.07.07 – Nashville), it was about the sound of 300 shofars piercing the night followed by the shout (Judges 7.7ff)…a relatively small number of us obediently standing in the gap and repenting for the sins of our country, and, for the restoration of God’s reign in it. It was the sound of victory in the camp. We could sense the shift in the heavenlies and the natural.

In this sense, our worship is about taking back the land, our destinies, and everything else the enemy has stolen. Our worship is about being the Church. It is about creating with God, at His instruction and Word, the wholeness of the Kingdom in the moment. We are teaching the children to walk into their destinies as agents of His Kingdom; and, that at Jesus’ lead, the whole culture can be changed, heaven can be brought to earth by connecting our God-given creativity, our hearts, and our thinking to our Creator.
