About Us
Core Principles of Ministry and Education
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…Jeremiah 1:5
We believe children, even very young children, are capable of ministering in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and have within them potential that has gone unrecognized and undeveloped in traditional programs and curriculum. Children of Glory recognizes the need for institutions to make a shift in the ways children are taught and is pioneering to help change the paradigm in children’s education and ministry.
Through prayer we provide an atmosphere of love where divine wisdom and creativity can be released. Learning becomes easy as children feel safe and free to become who they are created to be. Socialization skills, developmental skills, and educational skills become something they desire and experience as enjoyable. God-given skills, gifts, and talents, as well as “special needs” are more easily identified in this environment.
Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’; for to all to whom I send you, you shall go…Jeremiah 1:7
With the vision of transformation always before us, the spiritual, emotional and intellectual needs of the children are continuously evaluated, not only through traditional methods but through prayer, sharpening the senses of the teachers to know and discover the unique needs and divine plans of each child.
Behold I have put my words in your mouth. See I have set you this day over nations and over kingdoms…Jeremiah 1:8
Our desire is to see the wisdom of God’s Word joined to the divine creativity within the children. Excellence means setting standards that are much higher than those required to succeed in school. We consider basic skills to be the ‘floor’ of our music and educational curriculum. We teach children to join with their Creator, thus aiming much higher to discover His “ceiling” and to walk out His purpose in their lives.
Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God…Luke 18.16
Primary Goals
Establish worship and prayer in all areas of ministry so that children come into an intimate relationship and knowledge of the Father’s Heart and His love for them.
Set educational and equipping standards that reflect the revelation of prayer and worship, the wisdom of God’s Word and the divine creativity already present in the children and leaders.
Provide after-school music, theater, dance and art instruction, free of charge to urban children and youth.
Train and equip children as musicians and intercessors in worship that models the Tabernacle of David emphasizing excellence in musicianship combined with the Spirits of Prayer and Prophecy.
Provide education and support for parents and leaders who want to bring forth the vision of Children of Glory.
He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers… Malachi 4:6
